We will work on another
technique that makes the melody stand-out. This technique is
called the minor 10th arrangement. This technique is often used
with the left hand and can be quite spectacular if used
appropriately.
Listen to the
music
1. We will stretch
the left hand to play 10 notes. For an instance, we will play
the A with the fifth finger of left hand, and then the second(or
third) finger play the E (a fifth up from A), and have the thumb
play a C (sixth above the E). We do not play all three notes
together, rather, we play one note at a time. It can be hard to
play the last note (the tenth note from the first note) in the
beginning. Practice makes perfect. Try to anchor at the second
finger, so that you can stretch your thumb to play the 10th
note.

3. Apply this technique on any song.
